AB Transport, Inc. began as a full truckload carrier and over the past several years has quickly matured into one of North America 's leading providers of full truckload, expedited and logistics services.
We have contracts with a stable of trucks, trailers and meticulously qualified company drivers, AB Transport has contracts with more than 24,000 motor carriers who own and control in excess of 300,000 pieces of rolling stock. The virtually limitless resources available to the AB Transport team enable our seasoned freight experts to cover and manage any freight and/or logistics situation.
The real difference is our approach to protecting our customers. To insure our risk, we have secured the best-in-industry policies/coverages that effectively insure our non-asset, brokerage activities. These include:
- $1M in auto liability insurance (standard is $750k)
- Up to $500k in Contingent Cargo Insurance
- Additional $2M of Primary Truck Broker Liability Insurance PBLI* on every load carried, providing shippers with an additional layer of protection between your company and any carrier liability
* PTBLI is a significant addition to our risk management strategy. It covers losses (personal injury and property casualty) that occur involving an AB Transport-brokered motor carrier dispatched on a load by an AB Transport independent agent. We believe it is essential to protect our customers, ourselves and our agents.
