over several years and have

As a minority owned and operated
business, AB Transport, Inc.
recognizes the opportunity to
step up to the plate and grow
our competitive advantage.
We use who we are and what we
have created to the benefit of
our customers and ourselves. AB
research shows that most
successful companies are
committed to transforming the
workplace from a community of
sameness to a community of
vitality and difference. These
leading companies recognize that
synergy results from the
application of diverse
backgrounds, origins,
experiences, and outlooks.
The diversity within AB
Transport, Inc. contributes to
its unity of purpose and action.
It may sound as if gaining unity
from diversity is a mutually
exclusive proposition. Actually,
capitalizing on the diverse
backgrounds of employees and
other key audiences, AB
Transport has designed a culture
and plan superior to that which
could have been prepared and
applied by a less diverse group.
The pinpoint accuracy of the
plan and culture design unifies
all employee actions which
maximizes the use of all
resources.
Established companies in our
industry are facing the need to
transition from a workplace
community focused on the past to
a community who understands the
past while focusing on the
future. AB sees the value in
transitioning from a workplace
community who seeks the comfort
of predictability to a workplace
community who seeks the
stimulation of positive change.
As a newly established and
diverse company, AB Transport,
Inc. is free from the burden of
needing to pitch old cultural
baggage overboard and learn new
ways. We began as a future
focused, diverse, and
improvement oriented company.
This is another of our
competitive advantages.

With the help
of business partner Brett
Johnson and a $5,000 loan, Shawn
Leonard founded AB Transport,
Inc. in 2001. Both men had
a strong desire to make a big,
positive impact on the
transportation industry.
When they first analyzed the
transportation landscape, Shawn
and Brett quickly saw three
industry problems and found
solutions that would make AB
Transport, Inc. unique.
It was first observed that
accurate, timely and reliable
service had not been standard
for the industry -- this was the
opportunity to jump in to the
industry and set new standards.
The AB Transport, Inc. business
model emerged from this
discovery.
After further study, it was also
concluded there are at least
four missing links that
contribute to deficiencies in
service: employee training, the
use of contemporary technology,
solid information and binding
relationships. These items
became part of AB Transport's
unique market strategy.
The business model built in 2001
continues to evolve to meet
changing industry demands, but
remains grounded in the basic
philosophies originally penned.
AB Transport, Inc. has grown
quickly to be a very profitable
company, with sales growing by
millions of dollars each year.

AB Transport, Inc. has prospered
by having Strategic Partners
that have an ongoing and
permanent supplier relationship
with AB’s primary business
services.
Other Strategic Partner
relationships with key
organizations supplement the
skills and knowledge needed by
AB Transport, Inc. but they are
not “on the clock” until their
specific services are required.
- Sunteck Transport Co.,
Inc. has been the primary
Strategic Partner since
early in the history of AB.
This collaborative and
mutually beneficial alliance
has contributed to AB’s fast
growth, satisfied clients,
and encouraging future.
